We compare 44 President’s quotes in history to 45. This proves that Trump is inept, unqualified, unprepared, corrupt, incapable of the truth, without conscience, without honor, lacks empathy, and is truly what psychiatrists call a malignant narcissist. Our Democracy is shaking and if elected again, we and the World will be slaves to the rich and powerful. Dictatorship will follow.  We will be publishing quotes from former Presidents every day for 44 straight days and compare them to 45, our current President YAHOO. We are on # 19 (nineteen).

Rutherford B. Hayes
19th President of the United States

Rutherford Birchard Hayes was the 19th president of the United States from 1877 to 1881, having served in the U.S. House of Representatives and as governor of Ohio. Hayes, a lawyer and staunch abolitionist, defended refugee slaves in court proceedings in the antebellum years.  In 1876 the Electoral College made Hayes president in the course of one of the most contentious elections in national history. He lost the popular vote to Democrat Samuel J. Tilden, but won an intensely disputed electoral-college vote after a Congressional commission awarded him twenty contested electoral votes. There resulted the Compromise of 1877, in which the Democrats acquiesced to Hayes’ election on the condition that he withdraw remaining U.S. troops protecting Republican office-holders in the South.

Rutherford B. Hayes:

“He serves his party best who serves his country best.”

“As knowledge spreads, wealth spreads. To diffuse knowledge is to diffuse wealth. To give all an equal chance to acquire knowledge is the best and surest way to give all an equal chance to acquire property.

“It is now true that this is God’s country, if equal rights-a fair start and an equal chance in the race of life-are everywhere secured to all.”

“I am not liked as a President by the politicians in office, in the press, or in Congress. But I am content to abide the judgment-the sober second thought-of the people.”

Donald Trump: ‘There’s No Violence’ at Campaign Rallies

“The press is now going, they’re saying, ‘Oh but there’s such violence.’ No violence. You know how many people have been hurt at our rallies? I think, like, basically none except maybe somebody got hit once. It’s a love fest. These are love fests. And every once in a while…somebody will stand up and they’ll say something.…It’s a little disruption, but there’s no violence. There’s none whatsoever.”
—On his campaign rallies, despite documented evidence to the contrary (March 14, 2016)

“So bleach kills the virus on contact.  Is there a way to inject it?”  April  2020
