About Us
My Child My Country is all about people, and their love of their children and their country. Founder John Curtis says, “I’ve been in 35 countries and one thing remains constant: People love their children and most love their country. I wanted to bring a sense of family and country. A picture brings it to life, and it releases a number of emotions in people. I’m glad to be a part of something special like My Child My Country, and I thought you might like to be a part of it too!”
HISTORY
John is an adventurist, photo journalist, and avid writer. He is a patriot and countryman at heart. Being a father himself, he understands the importance of family and is always open to spending time with his family. His thirst for travel brought him around the world to places such as: Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Guatemala, Germany, France, Spain, China, Portugal, Austria, Borneo, Morocco, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Indonesia, Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvadore, and many more. Some of these countries now go by different names.
BEHIND THE SCENES
As the owner of the company, John Curtis wants to share a bit of the world with the rest of the world. A very down-to-earth guy, he gets a good feeling when others enjoy his work. His wife is a school teacher and his kids are a tight-knit bunch. He has a deep appreciation for Americana, and how it characterizes life here in America.
