We compare 44 President’s quotes in history to 45. This proves that Trump is inept, unqualified, unprepared, corrupt, incapable of the truth, without conscience, without honor, lacks empathy, and is truly what psychiatrists call a malignant narcissist. Our Democracy is shaking and if elected again, we and the World will be slaves to the rich and powerful. Dictatorship will follow. We will be publishing quotes from former Presidents every day for 44 straight days and compare them to 45, our current President YAHOO. We are on # 34 (thirty-four).
Dwight D. Eisenhower
34th President of the United States
Dwight David “Ike” Eisenhower, GCB, OM was an American army general and statesman who served as the 34th president of the United States from 1953 to 1961. During World War II, he became a five-star general in the Army and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe. He was responsible for planning and supervising the invasion of North Africa in Operation Torch in 1942–43 and the successful invasion of Normandy in 1944–45 from the Western Front.
Eisenhower’s approach to politics was described by contemporaries as “modern Republicanism,” which occupied a middle ground between the liberalism of the New Deal and the conservatism of the Old Guard of the Republican Party. A strong performance in the 1952 elections gave Republicans narrow majorities in both chambers of the 83rd United States Congress. Led by Taft, the conservative faction introduced numerous bills to reduce the federal government’s role in American life.
Dwight David Eisenhower:
“In the service, when a man gives you his word, his word is binding. In politics, you never know.”
“The opportunist thinks of me and today. The statesman thinks of us and tomorrow.”
“There are a number of things wrong with Washington. One of them is that everyone has been too long away from home.”
“Patronage is almost a wicked word. By itself it could well-nigh defeat democracy.”
“What counts is not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.”
“The only way to win World War III is to prevent it.”
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”
“Men acquainted with the battlefield will not be found among the numbers that glibly talk of another war.”
“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.”
“We cherish our friendship with all nations that would be free. And when in time of want or peril, they ask our help, they may honorably receive it; for we no more seek to buy their sovereignty than we would sell our own.”
“(On Senator Joe McCarthy) I just won’t get into a pissing contest with that skunk.”
“An intellectual is a man who takes more words than necessary to tell more than he knows.”
“People talk about the middle of the road as though it were unacceptable. Actually, all human problems, excepting morals, come into the gray area…The middle of the road is all of the usable surface. The extremes, right and left, are in the gutters.”
Donald Trump:

First of all I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question in which
I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how
you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing.
I’ve had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying to figure
out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Appreciate
it!
